Article of faith 13

As members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe in honesty. I have learned this throughout my life since I have been a member. this article of faith mentions that we hope all things and strive to endure all things. I have pondered this and it brings me to the things that I have gone through.

Recently I was in a situation that affected my mental and emotional health and for me, was something that I needed to learn and try my best to move on. After the contention between the other person ended, I felt something was released from my shoulders.

Even though I never expected to be like that and I had questions, I thought God was teaching me something from this situation and he wanted me to learn how to fix it without causing more contention and striving to be a peacemaker.

as it says in the article of Faith 13 “If there is anything virtuous, lovely or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things” I believe it is true, I believe if we could talk to others in kind words and not diminishing others, we can be better examples to others, we can bring Christ light to others.
