Joseph Smith said “When persons manifest the least kindness and love to me, O what pow’r it has over my mind. . . . The nearer we get to our heavenly Father, the more are we dispos’d to look with compassion on perishing souls—[we feel that we want] to take them upon our shoulders and cast their sins behind our back . . . if you would have God have mercy on you, have mercy on one another.”

If we focus our minds in Jesus Christ we will not be confused by the words of others who try to put us down. Same thing goes to media and writing. if we know how to use media literacy we will not be confused by false news, or maybe news that will make us feel scared.

I have learned that sometimes media can be misleading people towards things that might go the wrong direction. For instance, the entertainment news today is talking about how bad or mysterious is our church/religion and this makes a bad impression or misconception about the church and its members. This is why it is important to be well informed before we write about something.
