D&C 4

This chapter reminds me when I served my mission in the beautiful country of Brasil; I wanted to serve with all my heart, might, and mind. Sometimes it was difficult and at the start I just wanted to go back home. Nevertheless, This scripture helped me to understand that I needed to be with my heart, might, and mind.

I wanted so bad to be in the service of the Lord, but this will require to forget about myself for a short period of time and focused on the lost sheep. Help those that need Christ in their lives and hearts will require me to see others as Christ would see them.

When I finished my mission, I wanted to incorporate what I learned in social media. Times changed since then, and I had more friends that would follow what other people would tell about the church when it was lie or just because others don’t agree with the teachings.

I continue firm in the church and the gospel of my savior Jesus Christ and I love sharing quotes and stories about the gospel in my social media. Even though some people might not like it, I feel that it has helped other friends and family to have faith and feel closer to God no matter their challenges.
